The slider-style Samsung SGH-t729, to be marketed as the Blast, features a SureType QWERTY-style keypad for speedy typing.

The relatively small and light device also carries a 1.3MP camera and a 262k color screen, though it features a resolution of just 176×220 pixels. A microSD memory card slot supports cards up to 2GB in size, and can be used to store music for the MP3/AAC music player, with A2DP stereo Bluetooth compatibility a handy add-on. Quad-band GSM support also ensures the device is handy for frequent travelers.
