PCMag Reviewed Samsung SGH-A727and gave out “The handset’s unusual landscape-mode, 220-by-176 display is very bright, clear, and sharp, and it helps the phone achieve a slim 4.5- by 2.0- by 0.4-inch profile and a 2.8-ounce weight. But the screen’s squashed format means that fewer menu options are visible than on portrait-mode displays. Web browsing, especially, can feel cramped, which is a pity, because this phone uses the admirable Access NetFront Web browser and works well with Opera Mini.”

Mobiledia Reviewed Samsung SGH-A727 and gave out “Powered by 3G-HSDPA , the A727 can handle multimedia downloads both at a higher speed and a higher capacity. The feature is definitely a plus for users expecting to use the phone to its top potential for downloading music, radio feeds and video.But some users have said sound quality on the A727 is not outstanding, and battery life is rather short. Partly due to the TFT display, the sub-par colors should still be sufficient for viewing videos, photos and other downloaded material. As for its 1.3-megapixel camera, image quality won’t be equal to a regular digital camera, camcorder or high-end cell phone camera.”
