This update to the A640 is thinner and lighter, with updated styling and a talking menu feature for the vision-impaired and hands-free use. Other key features of this sleek clamshell CDMA phone include Bluetooth, dual color displays, an internal antenna, VGA camera, and speakerphone.

The M300 provides tools to help users stay connected, including web access, email and text messaging. It offers downloadable games, a VGA camera with digital zoom and PictBridge support. The M300 by Samsung is available in both dark silver and misty rose red. The Samsung SGH-M300 (like the E700) has a basic 128 x 160 pixel TFT display and a VGA resolution camera. There’s no MP3 player here, nor does the Samsung M300 have expandable memory (and as we mentioned, no Bluetooth). But it does has GPRS, a web browser, MMS messaging and some personal information management tools.
Samsung M300 Reviews:
CNET Reviewed Samsung M300 and gave out “The good: The Samsung SPH-M300 features a stylish and compact design. The cell phone also offers integrated Bluetooth and good call quality. The bad: The M300’s VGA camera produced poor pictures. Speakerphone volume is weak, and there’s only 8MB of internal memory with no expandable media. The bottom line: If you’re looking for a basic and affordable cell phone for just making calls, the Samsung SPH-M300 delivers with style. However, if you want a good camera phone, look elsewhere. “
MobileBurn Reviewed Samsung M300 and gave out “The Samsung M300 measures 91mm x 48mm x 18mm (3.6″ x 1.9″ x 0.7″) and weighs 85g (3oz). The manufacturer rated talk time is 3.2 hours with an undisclosed standby time. In our tests, the M300 came up slightly short at 3 hours 7 minutes of talk time. The M300 is available now from Sprint and comes in both silver and red.Shortcomings aside, Sprint’s stylish Samsung M300 has high-end looks without costing a high-end price. Its sleek design definitely disguises itself from looking like an entry level handset. The lightweight and compact M300 delivers great handsfree options for users such as Bluetooth and voice dialing, and even offers dual color displays. Even with its average battery life and poor viewing options for photos, I still give the Samsung M300 a “Recommended” rating.”
