In terms of battery life, the 6555 is rated for 3 hours of talk time and 11 days of standby time, which seems reasonable based on my personal experience.

MobileBurn reviewed the Nokia 6555 and gave out”Overall I like the 6555. It’s an attractive phone that looks and feels more expensive than it is. This handset certainly won’t be all things to all people, but its feature set seldom leaves you wanting for more. While I tend to not like the clamshell form factor, I recognize that it has its benefits over the candybar configuration, and the 6555 capitalizes on this. When open, the handset was comfortable and felt natural to use, and will surely appeal to people who dislike phones that don’t place the microphone close to their mouth.”
