Nokia 6500 slide Reviews:
MobileBurn Reviewed Nokia 6500 Slide and gave out “The 6500 Slide supports EDGE and GPRS data on any of its four GSM bands and faster 3G UMTS data on the 850 and 2100MHz bands. I was unable to test 3G data on the 6500 Slide, but the EDGE system performed well. Speed dials are assigned from the contacts editor, and can be accessed by long pressing the associated keypad key. More useful, however, is the 6500 Slide’s speaker independent voice dialing and command application…The system worked very well for me, far better than other Nokia developed systems I’ve used in the past couple of years.”
HardwareZone Reviewed Nokia 6500 Slide and gave out “Combined with an updated S40 interface, media capabilities and powerful camera functions, Nokia has successfully made the Nokia 6500 slide a very unique device on its own. The only feature lacking from this mobile phone that may give one pause is the absence of WiFi. All in, the Nokia 6500 slide is a good 3G phone with a decent array of functions that would be worth every single cent spent.”
pocket-lint Reviewed Nokia 6500 Slide and gave out “After playing with the Nokia 6500 slide for over a week, it merely comes across as a poor mans Nokia N95. The design is very similar, hence the reference, but the feature set no way near as fulfilling: no 5 megapixel camera, no dedicated music player, no GPS, no 8GB of on-board storage. While the simplicity angle works well on the Nokia 6500 classic, here you come away wanting more for your bulky design. “
