Nokia 6300 Reviews:
Mobile-phones-UK Reviewed Nokia 6300 and gave out “It’s like the early 6-series Nokia’s: exclusive- and expensive-looking, practically designed with a good sized screen and functional keypad, yet updated for 2007 with a 5-way navigation button and high quality colour display. The size is perfect: it’s very slim (just 11.7mm) and not too wide. The display is exceptional: a high resolution 240 x 320 pixel display with an amazing 16 million colours. On the outside the 6300 ticks all the right boxes.”
CNET Reviewed Nokia 6300 and gave out “The good: Slim design; sharp color screen; easy-to-use keypad; slick-looking user interface that keeps it simple. The bad: No auto-focus or flash on the camera; lack of 3G connectivity. The bottom line: While this isn’t the most advanced handset out there, it has a strong casing, a decent all-round feature set and an elegant, straightforward design. This is Nokia at its best. “
ITReviews Reviewed Nokia 6300 and gave out “Don’t choose this phone if you want the very latest features and more specifications than you can shake a stick at. But if you want a good phone for voice calls and texting with some useful extras attached, it is well worth a look. With all those negative comments it may be surprising that we say we like the Nokia 6300 as much as we do. But for many people, oodles of top-notch specifications aren’t the prime motivator when buying a mobile.”
Mobile-Review Reviewed Nokia 6300 and gave out “This handset has 2mpx camera (CMOS) which is not that much according to today’s standards, but it is still pretty enough for a middle class model. Nokia decided not to bet on camera part, it is more of an optional feature. In dark conditions camera refuses to work normally, exposure time increases and every movement your hand makes within that time leads to blurry image in the end. Dark conditions are considered daytime in summer on a street where there’s not much of sunlight. Indoors it is even worse. In case you consider camera being a nominal solution – it is pretty much comfortable.”
PhoneArena Reviewed Nokia 6300 and gave out “Nokia 6300 is a fine phone. It is simply stylish, classical and high-quality; though, unfortunately, somewhat dull. It is definitely oriented towards a more ‘grown-up’ age group, rendering it inappropriate for young people. If we add its stable operation as a phone with quite a few functions to the good image, then the 6300 can definitely be said to come up to our expectations.”
MobileBurn Reviewed Nokia 6300 and gave out “Even with the crackling loudspeaker, the phone has quite a lot to offer. However, the lack of an auto-focus camera might put off some buyers if imaging is one of their main concerns. The Nokia 6300’s screen is fantastic. With a QVGA (240×320 pixel) resolution and the ability to display up to 16 million colors, pictures look sharp colors are vivid and beautiful. Under harsh sunlight, colors appear slightly washed out, but readability is not affected at all.”
pocket-lint Reviewes Nokia 6300 and gives out “The Nokia 6300 is a great phone if you are looking for just a phone. Of course as soon as you step away from this remit and want better quality pictures, dedicated music buttons, or 3G connectivity then it all starts to fall short. However as the 6300 never professes to be anything more than just offering the basics this will please many a mobile phone user just looking to make calls.”
