LG KF600 Professional Reviews:

  • CNET.co.uk has reviewed LG KF600 and given out ” We’re in two minds about the split-screened LG KF600. On the one hand, contextual menus are a very good idea, offering users an easier way to interact with their phones, but how these contextual interfaces are accessed makes a big difference.
While the KF600’s lower-half touchscreen isn’t the worst we’ve ever used, the concept doesn’t work as well as we expected. We were really frustrated when instinctively pressing the top half of the screen to access icons, realising seconds later that only the bottom half is touch-sensitive.”
  • 3G has reviewed LG KF600 and given out ” For a touch-screen phone, the KF600 is very easy to use, but it achieves this by mimicking a regular phone interface. Aside from the slow data speeds for web browsing, the KF600 is a good all-round performer and the camera takes good snaps.”
  • MobileChoice has reviewed LG KF600 and given out ”We’ve wound up rather liking the KF600, despite its quirks and flaws. It’s a good-looking phone that’s easy to use for a touch-display device, even though it achieves this by embracing a traditional user interface, which would still arguably be easy to use with mechanised keys and navi-buttons.”
  • phonearena has reviewed LG KF600 and given out ”The overall appearance of KF600 is pleasant, but not impressive. Compared to the latest fashion phones on the market, Venus’ sister has put on “a few extra pounds”. Luckily, the massive body has allowed for an improved sliding mechanism, making it tight and very high quality. The fact that you have to directly touch/press/push the screen, due to the lack of a designated push bulge is a definite drawback. Moreover, as we mentioned before, it is a fingerprint magnet and your finger(s) can even easily slip off it. On top of that, the phone is absolutely symmetrical and you can get simply confused, which way you have to hold it, therefore cursing “the damned slider”, which doesn’t want to open.”
  • mobileburn has reviewed LG KF600 and given out ”To sum up, I have to say that I am disappointed with the KF600. The lack of 3G is not my biggest concern, neither are the durability issues. What I would take more seriously is actually the user experience, because this is exactly what it is being advertised for. The potential advantages of the InteractPad have not be fully exploited, whereas many disadvantages are obvious: the delayed button response, the slow haptic feedback, and the poor coupling of pop-up menus with morphing options on the screen. The outdated interface doesn’t help much either: the inflexibility of file management and the phone book are all problems that should have been addressed 2 years ago when we reviewed the P7200.”
