The enV features a hidden QWERTY keypad, Bluetooth, a 2.0-megapixel camera, a miniSD memory card slot, stereo speakers, an advanced MP3 player, and more. And if that’s not enough, the phone also supports Verizon’s exciting V Cast service, which allows you to download or stream video, 3-D games, and other exciting media.

EvDO high-speed technology, a QWERTY keyboard, a large internal screen, dual stereo speakers, and an external memory port. Not to mention exciting new features like an upgraded 2.0 megapixel camera & camcorder with autofocus and lens cover, and Bluetooth stereo support for listening to music. Now, all this LG innovation is packed into a slimmer and lighter weight design. The LG enV. Thinner. Lighter. Better than ever.
LG enV VX9900 Reviews:
CNET Reviewed LG enV VX9900 and gave out “The good: The LG enV offers an impressive feature set, an easy-to-use QWERTY keyboard, and decent call quality. The bad: The enV’s streaming video quality could be better, and the boxy design has its quirks. Also, its external display is small and not very useful. The bottom line: The design still isn’t perfect, but the LG enV is a high-quality messaging and multimedia cell phone. ”
PCmag Reviewed LG enV VX9900 and gave out “Outfitted with a powerful (for a phone) 2-megapixel camera, the handset takes sharp, well-balanced photos, albeit with distracting color noise. An autofocus function, although a cool idea, raises the shutter delay from a sprightly 0.4 seconds to an unacceptable 2 seconds without making photos. The enV could have been the ultimate messaging phone, a real Sidekick-killer. But Verizon’s greed and shortsightedness prevents that.”
MobileTechReview Reviewed LG enV VX9900 and gave out “Pro: Great phone ergonomics, strong call quality and volume. Performs well with V Cast content. VZ Navigator is great for those on the go in need of driving directions. Stereo speakers sound great! Excellent web browser by feature phone standards, though limited to single column view.Con: Volume rocker and camera button are nearly inaccessible with the display opened in notebook mode; you must open the phone 180 degrees to get to these more easily. No built-in email client. ”
PCworld Reviewed LG enV VX9900 and gave out “The built-in, 2.0-megapixel camera takes adequate photos. The lens sits on the back of the handset and is protected by a sliding lens cover–a nice touch. The camera’s autofocus tool captures still shots well, but the resulting shutter lag of up to 2 seconds can cause you to miss a moving subject. The phone supports Verizon’s 3G EvDO service, which makes for reasonably speedy Web browsing, and Verizon’s VZ Navigator service, which offers turn-by-turn GPS-based directions.”
MobileBurn Reviewed LG enV VX9900 and gave out “As an EV-DO handset, the VX9900 has pretty good access to wireless data. EV-DO download speeds for web pages, email, and V CAST content was quite good most of the time. Thanks to the good antenna, the coverage was consistent as well. Thanks to some added support from Intellisync, messaging on the VX9900 enV ranges from the normal text and picture messaging all the way to push email. The VX9900 does pretty well when it comes to extra call related features. Take the speakerphone function, for example…”
Mobiledia Reviewed LG enV VX9900 and gave out “Verizon’s standard software package rounds out the deal, including such high-end features such as MP3 and video download / playback. As can be expected, further impressive applications are available, but require additional fees. While Verizon’s software package may only be slightly above-average for a high-end phone, the enV’s design and functionality are enough to impress. Anyone on the lookout for a compact, multi-functional phone with a beautifully- orchestrated design should find satisfaction with the enV.”
