Who knows this cell phone trick?—by pogo_2640

my roommate was able to call my phone and leave me a voicemail without my phone ringing, or leaving any record of who called. i knew it was her and asked her but she wont tell me how to do it. does anyone know how to do it? i wasnt in a no service zone and my phone wasnt turned off. she doesnt think i’ll find out on yahoo answers, i think i’ll prove her wrong though.

You can use a back door voice mail trick (you could call it a trick)

Basically its like dialing any number and leaving a straight voice mail message. Bypassing a physical call because you call their voice mail-you could say.

When I worked it the cell phone industry (not a national company) we would use this to let customers know their phone was repaired, or their bill was late. Some times I used it to just leave my family and friends voice mails with out calling them.

Call your cell phone provider and ask them for the voice mail back door number. If they ask why you want the number? Tell them you need to get ahold of someone without calling them and you do it often. They should give it to you. You are a paying customer right?
