Sony Ericsson has taken what was already an excellent handset and improved it to make an even better one. It really is hard to fault the W890i, from its uber-slim design, cracking internet capabilities, the addition of Google Maps plus a whole lot more.
Pros: The OLED external screen gives the W380 a novel factor as does the Gesture control feature.
Cons: The 1.9-inch screen is too miserly, particularly in camera mode when the image is jostling for space with other icons.
The W380 is sure to appeal to a younger audience, with a host of appealing gimmicks such as Gesture control and the OLED external screen.
As with all Walkman handsets there is a dedicated music button to get you to the player straightaway and the menu interface is either a grid option or Sony Ericsson’s new scroll menu similar to the PSP or PS3 interface.
The K850i’s camera ability is second to none, although the odd keypad layout may not appeal to everyone.
The phone features a dedicated on/off button for the camera for example as well as a shutter and zoom buttons.
The W580i harbours a standard mid-range two-megapixel snapper, woefully deprived of autofocus, Macro focus for close-ups, and any type of flash.
Sony Ericsson C902 Cell Phone:
