The phone itself is a smooth, rectangular slider, with a nice little plastic bar at the bottom of the screen to let you slide the body up and reveal the keypad. The keys are small, but they sport raised rubber guides to prevent misdialing.
The powerful speaker also helps the Q9h excel as a music player. It syncs with and supports the usual Windows Media Player formats, playing music through either its booming mono speaker, a wired headset used with an adapter, or (somewhat muddily) a Bluetooth headset.

Overall performance from the 330-MHz processor was strong, as we didn’t notice much of a lag when loading apps or multitasking. Just be sure to pack that included extended battery if you’re a heavy talker or data user.

The Motorola Q9h is with 320 x 240 display, microSD card slot, 256MB of built-in memory, Bluetooth with A2DP, and a 2.0MP shooter.

The RAZR2 is very closely related to the design of the original, but it features a number of upgrades, like a modified shape, 2 megapixel camera, and 3G connectivity. The phone used for testing was the V9m, for Sprint’s CDMA network.

The Motorola Q 9m weighs in at 134g (4.7oz) and measures 117.5mm x 65mm x 15mm (4.6″ x 2.6″ x .6″). For those paying attention, that’s only slightly bigger than the original Motorola Q.

MobileBurn Reviewed Moto RAZR2 Q9m and gave out “The Motorola Q 9m is definitely a well-built device. The QWERTY keyboard’s special coating and domed keys make it a joy to use, and the scroll wheel is extremely handy to have as well. Windows Mobile 6 Standard Edition is very solid and offers a robust mobile experience in terms of multimedia. The sound quality through the Q 9m’s speaker is very good, and Verizon’s EV-DO high-speed network really supports the device well.
However, the battery indicator was extremely misleading, and the lack of a 3.5mm audio jack on a “multimedia” device is disappointing. In any case, the Motorola Q 9m is still a slim smartphone, with superb build quality and an easy to read display. As such, the Q 9m earns a ‘Recommended’ rating from this reviewer, simply because of the build quality and friendly QWERTY keyboard.”

It’s still light and slim enough to fit unobtrusively into a pocket or a purse, and the firm keys offer that cool blue Motorola glow that gives the Z6tv a modern edge.

Laptopmag Reviewed MOTORIZER Z6tv and gave out “There’s enough variety in the programming on the few channels currently available to satisfy dial-flippers, and the Z6tv’s other features round out the phone’s profile nicely. In the end, this is probably a device best suited for parents and domestic travelers.Being able to soothe restless youngsters in the minivan with Nickelodeon or getting breaking news from MSNBC while stuck in traffic make the V CAST Mobile TV capability worthwhile.”

The Rizr Z6tv has one significant design advantage over previous V Cast phones–the LG VX9400 and the Samsung SCH-U620–in that its extendable TV antenna is internal. It resides on the back of the device near the top, so you’ll have to be careful how you hold the phone or else you can block reception.

CNET Reviewed MOTORIZER Z6tv and gave out “The good:The Motorola Rizr Z6tv has a slick slider design, good call quality, and includes Verizon’s V Cast Mobile TV service. The bad: The Motorola Rizr Z6tv lacks some of the features found in the Rizr Z3, and the camera produced disappointing pictures. The bottom line:The Motorola Rizr Z6tv is an attractive cell phone that delivers good performance and includes live streaming TV.”

The exterior screen also comes into play when you receive a text message. You can read your texts without having to open the clamshell by using the side keys.

3G Reviewed Motorola MOTORAZR2 V8 and gave out “Upside:Motorola has managed to make its RAZR handsets even easier on the eye and the built-in music player is of a high standard. The marathon battery life also deserves a mention.—Downside:The V8’s mediocre two-megapixel camera and the lack of 3G and a memory card slot is frustrating, to say the least.—Verdict:Ultimately, with its lack of 3G and only a two-megapixel camera, the RAZR 2 V8 falls into the mid range of the market. As the saying goes, looks aren’t everything.”
