The biggest news is that the T-Mobile Wing runs the latest Windows Mobile 6 operating system, more specifically Windows Mobile 6 Professional Edition (formerly Pocket PC Phone Edition), which brings a number of small but notable improvements that make the Wing a smarter and more useful device for mobile professionals.

CNET Reviewed T-Mobile Wing and gave out “The good: The T-Mobile Wing smart phone runs Windows Mobile 6 Professional Edition and has integrated Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. It sports a revamped design with a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard, and it offers a 2-megapixel camera and good call quality. The bad: The Wing is on the heavier side and is sometimes sluggish when numerous apps are in use. Without the backing of a 3G network, Web browsing and data speeds are on the slower side when compared with the competition. The bottom line: With the addition of Windows Mobile 6, the T-Mobile Wing adds a powerful smart phone to the carrier’s lineup; however, performance falls a bit short of the competition. “

The new Ameo from T-Mobile is, technically, without a doubt the best Pocket PC ever.Virtually every feature ever seen is included in what is a state of the art device confirming HTC’s status as the premier Windows Mobile manufacturer.

4WinMobile Reviewed T-Mobile Ameo and gave out “The operating system on the Ameo is Windows Mobile 5. It seems strange that the Ameo has not been installed with WM6 which is appearing on other HTC built devices such as the Vox.The most striking aspect of the Programs list in the Ameo is the order.”

ComputerWorld Reviewed T-Mobile Wing and gave out “For the T-Mobile Wing is a reasonable value, given the phone’s versatile functionality, stellar call quality and excellent battery life. My greatest concerns about the phone involve its limited onboard storage and its poorly constructed buttons. Especially, the Wing makes a great package, especially if you value the easy input that a touch screen affords, together with the computing flexibility of Windows Mobile”

The new T-Mobile Wing, the MDA’s replacement, packs in many notable improvements, including a 2-megapixel camera, a brighter screen, better voice quality, Windows Mobile 6, and a classier overall design.

PCmag Reviewed T-Mobile Wing and gave out “the Wing features a slide-out, spring-loaded keyboard. The new mechanism glides with a soft touch and clicks into place. The Wing sports larger keys that are easy to type on, too, but difficult to read at a glance because of all the blue ALT-key graphics. On the plus side, there’s now a proper numeric keypad arrangement, instead of the numbers 0-9 stretching across the top keys, as on the MDA”

The T-Mobile Wing is the follow on product offering to the T-Mobile MDA (aka HTC Wizard). The major difference between the Wing and the MDA is the addition of Windows Mobile 6.

Gizmodo Reviewed T-Mobile Wing and gave out :The good news is that even though they’ve switched the sliding to the right instead of to the left, it still pops open crisply. Plus, it’s now spring loaded, which gives it a Helio Ocean-esque feel. Quite addicting for you, but annoying to the people around you”
