The Finepix F40fd with Picture Stabilization will automate professional photographic techniques to help reduce camera shake, freeze subject movement and improve low light background detail.

PcMag reviewed the Fujifilm FinePix F40fd and gave out, “The F40fd also features Face Detection, a new technology designed to significantly improve your picture taking by identifying human subjects’ faces in the frame and in real time, determining the optimal focus and exposure settings for the absolute best results possible in any shooting conditions.”

The Fujifim F40fd is an impressive compact 8 megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical zoom lens and a large 2.5″ display. The camera improves on the FinePix F30, by adding an 8 megapixel sensor, a new mode dial, a new zoom ring, and face detection focus.

DigiCamReview reviewed the Fujifilm FinePix F40fd and gave out, “ If you want manual controls and a high ISO range then the FinePix F30 or F31fd make an excellent choice, with ISO upto 3200 - and if you want a high resolution point and shoot then the F40fd makes an excellent choice, with the highest resolution of the series. Whichever one you decide upon, they all offer excellent low light, low noise performance, great image quality, and very good responsiveness, especially with the High Speed mode activated.”

The Finepix A800 has eight megapixels and a three times zoom lens. It has a fairly minimal set of features and is therefore one of the easiest to use cameras you are likely to come across.

Cameras.co.uk reviewed the Fujifilm FinePix A800 and gave out “In my opinion a camera lives or dies on the quality of photos it produces. Therefore the Fuji Finepix A800 dies! I know it’s pretty cheap, but if you are able to spend that bit more you will be able to buy yourself a much better digital camera.”

Fujifilm Finepix A800 Fans Collection
The FinePix A800 is the first model in Fujifilm’s A-Series line-up to sport an 8-megapixel Super CCD sensor and the first to incorporate light sensitivities of up to ISO 800 at full resolution. Borrowing a page from Fujifilm’s more advanced camera models, the FinePix A800 shoots at higher light sensitivities with less noise than comparative models.
