The LG Vu is about beautiful design, full phone features and TV. The iPhone is about the best touch experience on the market, ease of use and an unbeatable mobile music and video player.
The LG Vu isn’t quite as slick as the iPhone. But it’s close. Ultimately, it’s the lack of PC syncing and the somewhat lower-quality Internet options that cause me to recommend Apple’s phone over LG’s.
Nokia 6122c Cell Phone
The Nokia 6122c measures 105mm x 46mm x 16mm in size and weighs a respectable 92g. With the 6122c video streaming and internet browsing becomes more entertaining as it is equipped with a 2.0-inch large display. You can listen to your desired songs in various formats on the Stereo digital music player.
LG Vu CU920 Cell Phone
Elegantly and simply designed, the LG Vu CU920 for AT&T features a stunning 3-inch touchscreen that provides excellent viewing of AT&T’s new Mobile TV offering, which allows you to watch TV-quality programming from Comedy Central, ESPN, Fox, NBC, and more.
The Vu has an included 2-megapixel camera with autofocus, and it delivered good results when we snapped pictures around Manhattan.
The Vu comes with 3G HSDPA support, which allows it access to AT&T’s wide array of broadband services.
LG Vu CU915 Cell Phone
The LG Vu CU915 weighs 3.16 ounces and measures 4.25 x 2.16 x 0.51 inches. Its 1000 mAh lithium-ion battery is rated at up to 3 hours of talk time, and up to 250 hours of digital standby time. It runs on the 850/900/1800/1900 GSM/GPRS/EDGE frequencies as well as AT&T’s 850/1900 MHz 3G frequencies (UMTS/HSDPA).
Nokia 3600 Slide Cell Phone
The 3600 Slide measures 97.8mm x 47.2mm x 14.5mm (3.8″ x 1.9″ x 0.6″) in size and weighs a respectable 97.3g (3.4oz). It features background noise cancellation, for clearer call quality, as well as an FM radio and 2.5mm audio jack with TV-Out capability (using the included cable).
Nokia 6600 Slide Cell Phone
The 6600 Slide measures 93mm x 45mm x 14mm (3.7″ x 1.8″ x .6″) in size and weighs a respectable 110g (3.9oz). It is one of Nokia’s smallest sliders to date, and it said to “smoothly glide open in the hand”. The 6600 slide has a glossy, “high-quality” steel cover and aluminium centre key. Tapping the Nokia 6600 slide twice also indicates time, snoozes, alerts and silences or rejects incoming phone calls.
The Katana LX is primarily a voice phone. As is typical for a Sanyo phone, reception was excellent, and both the earpiece and speakerphone were quite loud.
