Nokia definitely knows about this but heck, the Luna has always been more about form than function. If you seek the latest in technology and huge amounts of space to put all your photos, music files, and your massive amount of ringtones, then you are just not the buyer Nokia is targeting for the 8600. If you value style and beauty, the Luna is certainly your best bet and in spite of how all of us at MobileBurn.com are crazy about mobile technology, the Nokia 8600 Luna gets a ‘Recommended’ rating for its excellent build quality and simply because it is one of the most beautiful looking handsets around.

mobileburn Reviewed Nokia 8600 Luna and gave out “The 8600 Luna does pack Stereo Bluetooth (A2DP) support for wireless streaming music to compatible headphones or speakers. This great performance just compounds the fact that the music player is wasted without expandable memory. Still, if you quickly get bored with the same old songs, you can turn to the built-in FM radio…Despite taking some photos in good and natural lighting conditions, the Luna抯 camera still struggled to produce decent photos. Highlights were a little blurred, while strong white areas were over saturated and overblown…”

The Web browser is one example. Retrieving information at 3G data speeds is fine, and the browser itself can be switched into widescreen view. Thumbnail views of Web pages are available and these are marked up with numbers identifying different areas of a page. Hit a number and you go to that area. This is all pretty nice stuff, but still, reading text on the small screen is less than comfortable.

ITReviews Reviews Nokia 6120 classic and gives out “As a fully-fledged Smartphone the Nokia 6120 Classic might, in some cases, be a little too small for its own good. Nonetheless, if you don’t need screen-intensive Smartphone features, it could be a good choice.”

Call quality was good and we have no complaints about the volume of the earpiece for hearing people speak. The loudspeaker is more than adequate at maximum volume — you’ll won’t have a problem hearing the 6120 ring.

Cnet Reviews Nokia 6120 classic and gives out “
The good:
* High-speed downloads
* Mini-USB for PC transfers
* Compatible with all 3G networks
The bad:
* 2-megapixel camera takes poor shots
* 2.5mm headphone jack
The bottomline: Nokia’s 6120 is a good all-rounder with fast Internet access at a very attractive price — the camera isn’t great, though.”

It weighs just 89 gr and it fits perfectly on the palm, or in tight jeans. For those who like their phones to be “just a small phone” and yet they do want some extra features sometimes, this might be the product for them.

osnews Reviews Nokia 6120 classic and gives out “
Pros:
* Battery life
* BT 2.0 w/ A2DP support
* Dual-band 3G, quad-band GSM
* Video editor
Cons:
* No WiFi
* Half-implemented VoIP SIP “

The camera proved to be disappointing. Indoor photos, like that of the coloured dish that is my standard comparative shot, taken under normal household lighting, were dull and lacking in lustre.

TrustedReviews Reviews Nokia 6120 classic and gives out “The 6120 classic does have its faults. The screen is too small for some activities on offer, and the buttons could have been made easier to hit. Overall though, this is a remarkable little phone ideal for anyone wanting to try S60 features in a small – and relatively low cost - handset.”

Small, slim and elegant, the 6120 looks like a quality feature phone, smartly concealing the brains inside. The phone is gloss black with silver accents and is just a few millimeters longer than the Sony Ericsson W580i. It looks classy, modern and attractive and will snuggle easily into fitted pants pockets.

MobileTechReview Reviews Nokia 6120 classic and gives out “The Nokia 6120 Classic is a fantastic entry level S60 3rd Edition smartphone. In fact, it need not be considered entry level, but rather a phone for those who value portability and don’t need WiFi, GPS or a high end camera which drive up both price and size. The phone is responsive, has an excellent display, manageable keypad and good battery life. And it’s relatively inexpensive, attractive and durable.”

6120 Classic is a small elegant phone but it is a mass phone, rather than a posh one. No expensive materials have been used to make it a fashionable or prestigious device, it is its design that makes it a phone to appeal to a lot of people.

phonearena Reviews Nokia 6120 classic and gives out “Nokia 6120 classic is a nice and small phone, but with the functions of a real Symbian S60, using the latest current version (v9.2), which is definitely better than the previous. It is convenient to hold, easily fits a pocket and offers a good sound during conversation. Its multimedia capabilities are not like the N-series, but still you have a good music player with MicroSD slot for memory and a 2 megapixels camera although with mediocre quality. Bearing in mind that it is a 3G phone which can work both in Europe and America, with excellent Internet and e-mail browser, typical of the platform, and with a very fast interface, 6120 classic is an excellent choice for people looking for a small and nice smartphone.”

Nokia 6120 classic Collection Digital Fans:
The Nokia 6120 classic is a fairly nondescript-looking candybar phone turned out in shiny black plastic offset with metallic trim. It looks like one of the mid-range workhorses that Nokia has always excelled at - solid, reliable, not terribly exciting but still capable of selling in huge quantities.

The 31 x 41mm screen is beautifully bright and clear, and carries 16 million colours - much more than the human eye can detect, but which reveals a beautifully smooth transition when watching video.

Call quality was admirable in most situations; voices sounded natural, and interference and static were almost nonexistent. The volume could be a tad louder, however, as we had some trouble hearing when were in very noisy locations.

Cnet Reviews Motorola A1200 and gives out “The good: The Motorola Ming A1200 is a functional smartphone with a stylish, compact design and satisfying call quality. The feature set offers a decent range of options, including stereo Bluetooth, world phone support, a business card reader, and a media player.—The bad: The Motorola Ming A1200’s interface was occasionally sluggish and the call volume tended to be low. Its virtual keyboard is tiny and the microSD card slot is in an inconvenient location. Also, it lacks 3G and Wi-Fi, and the internal memory is quite low.—The bottom line: Though it lacks some key data features, the Motorola Ming A1200 is a unique and user-friendly smartphone that delivers on call quality.”

The MING features sleek curves and clean lines throughout its design. Apart from the transparent flip, the phone is encased entirely in a soft touch rubber compound.

mobileburn Reviews Motorola A1200 and gives out “The Motorola MING is quite the looker but when it came to performance, the sluggish and unfriendly Linux UI let it down. The exclusion of EDGE support is unfortunate. However, if you are a user of the previous A780, this might be a good upgrade for you since it is a wee bit faster and it does look much better. The business card reader application is also a cool piece of software.”
