When Olympus announced its SP550 UZ, the world’s first 18x zoom digicam, in late January it attracted considerable attention worldwide

Photoreview reviewed the Olympus SP-550UZ and gave out”Olympus has clearly responded to market demands in the development of the SP550 UZ. There’s a strong demand – particularly among travellers – for a compact, all-in-one camera that can cover all situations. And, despite the compromises that have had to be made, the SP550 UZ is a capable camera that is well worth considering – as long as you don’t plan to print your shots larger than A4 size….”

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S650,This digicam is hampered by flat, oversaturated, and dark photos.

LapTopMag reviewed the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S650 and gave out”On our tests, colors looked a bit flat, and most shots were oversaturated. A test photo of a colleague in the office was too dark. Outdoor shots looked better with the exposure more in line. The DSC-S650 can also record VGA video at 30 fps”

whether the Samsung GX-10 is a good camera is almost beside the point. It’s neither better nor cheaper than its Pentax equivalent, and Pentax has both the photographic history..

Cnet reviewed the Samsung GX-10 and gave out”The good: Excellent photo quality; well-designed and solidly built body; premium features for its price class; nice kit lens. The bad: Occasional autofocus hunting; Optical Picture Stabilization only buys you about a stop. The bottom line: Despite a great feature set for the price, pro-level customization, and excellent photo quality, we can’t think of a single reason to buy the Samsung GX-10 over its Pentax-made twin, the K10D. “

Nokia’s 6300 is “Simply beautiful - beautifully simple.” The beauty comes from the sleek, classic design with stainless-steel surfaces, and the simplicity reflects the fact that this is an all-round kind of phone.not a smartphone, not 3G, but including all of the functionality that most people want. Sounds like a winner!

Mobile-phones-UK Reviewed Nokia 6300 and gave out “It’s like the early 6-series Nokia’s: exclusive- and expensive-looking, practically designed with a good sized screen and functional keypad, yet updated for 2007 with a 5-way navigation button and high quality colour display. The size is perfect: it’s very slim (just 11.7mm) and not too wide. The display is exceptional: a high resolution 240 x 320 pixel display with an amazing 16 million colours. On the outside the 6300 ticks all the right boxes.”

The Nokia N95 is one smart phone that just doesn’t measure up, especially if you consider all the features in its minute size. One of the first things we noticed is the sharp 2.6-inch 240 x 320-pixel screen. On the back of the handset is where we find the 5-megapixel autofocus camera with Carl Zeiss lens.

CNET Reviewed Nokia N95 and gave out “The good: HSDPA; Wi-Fi; onboard GPS; 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens; 3.5mm audio jack; mini-USB connector. The bad: Build quality doesn’t justify the premium price; poor battery life; sluggish performance when multiple applications are running; premium price. The bottom line: There’s no doubt that the Nokia N95 is one of the most full-featured smart phones available right now, but its poor battery life could very well be its Achilles’ heel.”

LG’s KE800 retains some of the Chocolate phone’s stylish looks but comes with a better camera and an expandable microSD slot. LG KE800 rectangular packaging looks like it was made to hold fine badger-hair brushes, not a mobile phone.

LG KE800 Chocolate Collection By digitalBoy:
LG KE800 Chocolate remains quite thin and small measuring in at 0.39” thick, which is right at half as thick as the existing Chocolate phone. Looks pretty sweet with the sliding keypad.

The LG Chocolate Platinum, produced under the designation KE800, would feature tri-band GSM/GPRS support, stereo Bluetooth support, FM radio and a microSD card slot. Moreover, it would have 256MB of integrated memory instead of 128MB, updated music player functionalities and a dedicated Flight mode.
